I enjoyed the close proximity to Killington resort. we walked easily to the ski rental across the parking lot, which was a huge plus. The staff greeted us warmly and always offered assistance when we needed it. Our room felt spacious and clean with a nice balcony view of the mountains in the distance. Breakfast was a highlight each morning with a variety of options like eggs, bacon, pancakes, and more. The dining area was bright and inviting, perfect for fueling up before hitting the slopes. However, the lodge felt quite dated. The décor, furniture, and amenities had an old school charm, but the tube TV and funky smell in the room might not appeal to everyone. We had issues with the heat, as it was adjustable, but we didn’t realize it at first, making our room overly hot at night. I wish the pool was open earlier in the day since we were looking forward to a morning swim. Overall, I had a good time and appreciated the location, just a few updates could elevate the experience significantly.

The location is prime for skiing, just steps away from rentals and the slopes. An indoor pool provides a great way to unwind after a long day of hitting the trails.
The decor feels like it’s stuck in the 1980s, and the tube TV adds to the dated vibe. Water pressure in the shower is lackluster, leading to questionable cleanliness. A continental breakfast is minimal, with packaged granola bars being a far cry from what one might expect. The air conditioning leaves much to be desired, as rooms can get uncomfortably hot without clear control. My room had a noticeable odor—neither bad nor pleasant, just present. Lastly, parking can be a hassle, especially during busy winter weekends.

Couples seeking a blend of charm and convenience
The location was unbelievable, a short walk to the mountain, where I just had to grab my gear and go. Plus, them having breakfast with soooo many options, I mean bacon like it was a buffet, is something I didn’t expect.
It wasn't exactly wallet-friendly, but you know, worth it in the end.

I loved the rustic charm of Cascades Lodge, with its clean and comfortable rooms, warm ambiance, and convenient shuttle service right outside. It truly felt welcoming and accessible for seniors like me.
Improve accessibility with more handrails and ramps.

Shuttle service right outside was super convenient. Pool needed better maintenance, it looked dirty around the edges. Lots of activities nearby, skiing and hiking were great options. Rooms clean, but really outdated decor. Friendly staff made check-in easy.

do recommend for a couple of nights
Spacious room, comfortable bed, with a clean bathroom and a fridge that kept our drinks cold, along with a great breakfast selection that included eggs and pancakes. A convenient location with easy access to ski lifts.
Everything was superb.
